On CircleFunds, you can create your own thrift group with friends, family, or colleagues to reach your financial goals faster, all from the comfort of your phone.
Below are 5 easy steps to help you get started:
Step 1: Log in to Your CircleFunds App
Log in to your CircleFunds app using biometrics or input the email address and password you signed up with.
If you don’t have a CircleFunds account, simply download the app from your mobile app store and sign up.
Before going to the next step, make sure you complete your basic profile information and KYC verification.
Step 2: Navigate to the Thrift Section
After logging in to your CircleFunds app, you’ll see “Thrifts” at the bottom of your dashboard. Tap on it, then click on “Start” and select “Start a Savings Group.”
Step 3: Set Up Your Thrift Group
Create your thrift group to match your preferences with the following:
- A name for your thrift group.
- The contribution amount for each participant.
- The number of payout slots.
- The frequency of contributions (weekly or monthly).
- The contribution date and payout date.
- Whether you want to join the thrift as a participant.
- If you would like to earn as an admin (If yes, fill in the Admin Request form).
- Your preferred payout slot.
Step 4: Review the Group Summary
Once all details are filled in, you’ll see a summary of your thrift group. Review carefully to confirm the details. Then accept the terms and conditions and click on “Next” to proceed.
Step 5: Add Thrift Participants
You’re all set! It’s time to add members to your thrift group. Click on the share icon at the top right of your thrift, copy the invite link and share with friends, family, or colleagues to join.
Once all slots are full, click on “Activate Thrift” to launch your thrift.
