On CircleFunds, KYC ensures that all members in a thrift group are genuine, reducing the risk of fraud and keeping your savings secure.
Why Do We Require KYC?
Trust is everything when it comes to saving money with others. By completing KYC, you show you can be trusted.
You’ll need to complete your KYC verification to access all the benefits on the CircleFunds app. It’s a simple process that only takes a few minutes.

What You Need for KYC
To complete verification, you’ll provide two things:
- Identity Verification: Upload a valid government-issued ID (e.g. NIN or International Passport).
- Address Verification: Upload a recent utility bill (e.g. electricity or water bill) dated within the last 3 months.
How to Complete Your KYC on CircleFunds

Once you have your documents, the verification process is easy.
- Log in to your CircleFunds app.
- You’ll find the KYC section at the top of your screen.
- Tap “Start” and upload your documents.
- Submit and wait for confirmation.
You’ll receive a notification about the status of your verification within 24 hours.
If approved, you’ll gain full access to the CircleFunds app. If rejected, you may need to submit a different document for review.
